This e-petition was created & accepted to request Royal Observer Corps Association members the rights to wear the current Armed Forces Veterans badge & Veteran status, which presently members are disallowed. The Royal Observer Corps since formation 1925 has a very proud history of service & support to the UK Armed Forces,         World War II ‘Battle of Britain’ (eyes & ears of the RAF), Hess Flight to Scotland, to name but a few, followed by ‘Cold War’ service until Stand Down 1991 with remnants who served onwards until 1993/95. This has received tremendous pledges of support from branches of the UK Armed Forces & Ex-Services Associations alike along with that of the USA Veterans, sadly only UK can sign up. I require 500+ signatures by July 2010 which I hope to achieve, all I ask is for your signature. The e-petition 2 minutes to create 20 seconds to sign-up, the thanks to our Veterans a lifetime.
